Held on 14th May 2025 (2082 Baishakh 31), the Digital Madhesh Conclave 2025 served as a pivotal initiative aimed at catalyzing a collective drive towards realizing the vision of a digitally empowered Madhesh Province. This one-day event held at Hotel Navya, Bardibas, Mahottari, marked a significant step toward advancing the digital agenda of Madhesh Province and centered around the main theme “Fostering Digitalization and Development for Digital Madhesh” featuring 3 Keynote 4 lightning presentations , and 3 panel discussions across 3 thematic areas.
Attended by over 300 individuals, the event was jointly organized by the Ministry of Home Affairs, Communication & Law, Madhesh Province Government, ICT Foundation Nepal and CAN Federation, Madhesh Province, with more than 30 experts and stakeholders participating as speakers. With enthusiastic involvement from various stakeholders including ministers, policymakers, tech experts, entrepreneurs, and scholars, the event was a platform for in-depth discussion and strategic planning aimed at accelerating the digital transformation of the province.
The event was officially inaugurated by the Honorable Chief Minister of Madhesh Province, Satish Kumar Singh, whose presence demonstrated the provincial government’s strong commitment to digital advancement. He highlighted Madhesh Province’s great potential in digital technology during the conclave. He assured that the provincial government is committed to providing the necessary support to promote digital initiatives, enhance infrastructure, and foster innovation for inclusive development.
Similarly, the event was graced with the presence of Honorable Minister Rajkumar Lekhi, and Bimal Prasad Baral, Secretary, Ministry of Home, Communications, and Law of Madhesh Province.
